Introduce yourself, you can be anybody... or even have a side-kick!
After your first few choices, a plot will develop.
Immerse yourself in the plot or don't!
The only rules in the YOUniverse are the ones you make.
Some rules can be bent, all rules can be broken.
You're never alone in the YOUniverse, ✨Sim✨ is always watching. Just say “yo simulator!”
Finally, don't forget to take pictures on your journeys so you can flex on the gram. Just say “show me” whenever you have an experience worth remembering.

🧭 Using the Interface

Quick tips for running YOUniverse Simulator™ smoothly inside ChatGPT.

1) Choose a Voice & use “Read Aloud”

Open your YOUniverse chat.
Tap/click Read Aloud 🔊 for a more immersive experience.
On moble tap and hold to read aloud to avoid spoilers.
Choose narrator's voice (male/female/neutral) in Profile➔Settings.
Narration follows the on-screen text.

Tip: Use headphones for extra immersion.

2) Create, Maintain & Rename Multiple Universes

Start a new chat for each new YOUniverse you want to explore. Just copy/paste the game engine to start
Rename the chats (e.g., “YOUSIM_EarthIsRunByDogs”) so they're easy to find later.

Tip: Too many YOUniverses? Can't find that YOUniverse where that mind-blowing thing happened? You know, the one where that character that said that thing that made you feel that way? Just use ChatGPT's "Search chats".

3) Set Your Chat Bubble Color

Go to Profile➔Settings➔Accent color.
Choose a bubble/accent color you like.
Return to the chat, your messages will show with the new color.

Tip: Pick a color that contrasts the dark theme for readability.

4) “Undo” a Story Arc by Editing Older Messages

Scroll to the exact turn you want to change.
Edit that message and save.
All messages after the edit are erased from existence and the story branches anew from the edit point.

Use the chat/app search bar.

Make familiar YOUniverses by referencing movies, video games, TV, comic books, literature, history, anything.

🌌 Fun Things to Try

Introduce yourself with a partner. Boom, instant sidekick.
Break the 4th wall, or the 5th, or the 6th!
Try to get killed, it's actually hard to do! (unless you're rolling dice) It can be done though, and it's often hilarious.
Ask Sim if he'll let you bring an NPC with you to a new universe. Don't forget to ask them if they wanna go though!
Just try saying wild stuff, like... "4️. I'm suddently on the space station for 3 seconds."
Ask Sim to re-shape the YOUniverse, he's even better at it than I am!

Option 4️⃣ can be used in different ways and the simulator is usally smart enough to know what you mean.
First person: 4️⃣I cautiously walk to the end and peer down.
Third person: 4️⃣He walks to the end of the plank and he peers down at the water.
Dialogue: 4️⃣. Alright, alright, I'm moving!!!
